You may have heard recently that NASA is going to bomb the moon. Well, that's not exactly correct. The reality is that they are going to crash a probe into the moon's surface so that they can collect data from the resulting dust and debris "plume."

Astronomers declared NASA's Hubble Space Telescope a fully rejuvenated observatory with the release Wednesday of observations from four of its six operating science instruments. The new pictures that have been released are truly amazing. The hubble continues to give us a closer visual insight into the “glory of God” in the heavens.

One of the main questions, believe it or not, that we get asked whenever we have a star party is this, “Can you see the American flag on the moon with that telescope?” I know it sounds hilarious, but we get asked this all the time, and we generally only lug around an 8” telescope to our star parties.
